1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the Porcia platform provided by Arunkumar Chaubey, an individual resident of India, doing business as Porcia.
This AUP is part of our Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted Use
Porcia is designed for legitimate business purposes to help organizations:
- Discover and manage SaaS vendors
- Analyze vendor contracts and pricing
- Negotiate better terms with vendors
- Track software spend and usage
- Identify shadow IT and optimize licenses
You may use Porcia only for these intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Porcia to:
3.1 Illegal Activities
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Infringe intellectual property rights of others
- Engage in fraud, theft, or misrepresentation
- Violate export control or sanctions laws
- Facilitate money laundering or terrorist financing
3.2 Unauthorized Access
- Access accounts, data, or systems you don't have permission to access
- Attempt to bypass authentication or security measures
- Use another user's account without authorization
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission
3.3 Harmful Activities
- Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Launch denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Overload systems with excessive requests
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Porcia infrastructure
3.4 Abuse of Service
- Use Porcia for purposes other than SaaS management
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Create derivative works or competing products
- Resell or sublicense access to Porcia
- Use Porcia to build a similar product or service
3.5 Data Misuse
- Submit data you don't have rights to share
- Forward emails containing sensitive personal information unnecessarily
- Upload malicious files or documents
- Intentionally submit false or misleading information
- Use Porcia to process Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA
- Use Porcia to process payment card data (PCI-DSS scope)
3.6 Spam and Abuse
- Send unsolicited commercial emails (spam)
- Use Porcia to conduct phishing attacks
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Post or transmit offensive, defamatory, or illegal content
3.7 Circumvention
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions
- Create multiple accounts to evade suspension
- Use VPNs or proxies to hide prohibited activity
- Manipulate or falsify usage metrics
4. Email Integration Restrictions
When using email forwarding or OAuth integrations:
4.1 You Must
- Only forward emails you have the right to share
- Respect confidentiality obligations
- Comply with your organization's email policies
- Obtain necessary permissions before forwarding company emails
4.2 You Must NOT
- Forward emails containing highly sensitive personal information (health records, financial account numbers, government IDs) unless absolutely necessary
- Forward emails in violation of attorney-client privilege
- Forward emails that violate non-disclosure agreements
- Use email integration to spy on or monitor others without authorization
5. SSO Integration Restrictions
When connecting identity providers (Google Workspace, Azure AD, Okta):
5.1 You Must
- Have authorization to connect your organization's identity provider
- Provide appropriate notice to employees whose data will be accessed
- Comply with applicable employment and privacy laws
- Use SSO data only for legitimate SaaS management purposes
5.2 You Must NOT
- Connect an identity provider without proper authorization
- Use SSO data to monitor or surveil employees inappropriately
- Share employee data with unauthorized third parties
- Use SSO integration to access data beyond what's necessary for the Service
6. AI Feature Restrictions
When using AI-powered negotiation and analysis:
6.1 You Must
- Review all AI-generated content before acting on it
- Verify accuracy of AI extractions and recommendations
- Use AI outputs as informational guidance only
- Maintain human oversight and decision-making
6.2 You Must NOT
- Rely solely on AI without human review
- Use AI to generate fraudulent or misleading communications
- Treat AI outputs as legal or financial advice
- Attempt to manipulate or "jailbreak" AI models
- Use AI features to generate harmful, offensive, or illegal content
7. Browser Extension Restrictions (When Available)
When using the Porcia browser extension:
7.1 You Must
- Install the extension only on devices you own or have permission to use
- Use the extension only for tracking SaaS application usage
- Comply with your organization's device and software policies
7.2 You Must NOT
- Install the extension on shared or public computers without permission
- Attempt to modify or tamper with the extension
- Use the extension to track activity outside of SaaS applications
- Circumvent extension privacy controls
8. Account Security Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access: security@porcia.org
- Using strong, unique passwords
- Enabling multi-factor authentication (when available)
9. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
10. Enforcement
10.1 Investigation
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP, including:
- Reviewing account activity and usage patterns
- Examining uploaded content and forwarded emails (only as necessary)
- Cooperating with law enforcement
- Suspending accounts pending investigation
10.2 Consequences of Violation
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account
- Delete or remove violating content
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
- Pursue legal action for damages
10.3 No Refunds
If your account is suspended or terminated for violating this AUP, you are not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
11. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
We will cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities when:
- Required by law or legal process
- Necessary to protect our rights or property
- Necessary to protect the safety of users or the public
- Investigating suspected illegal activity
We may disclose account information and content as necessary to comply with legal obligations.
12. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
- How you use the Service or AI-generated content
- Decisions you make based on Porcia insights
- Outcomes of negotiations or vendor interactions
- Your compliance with applicable laws
- Violations of third-party rights resulting from your use
You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and compliance with this AUP.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
14. Severability
If any provision of this AUP is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
